Satch and Sol slippers are produced by amazingly accomplished artisans in Mongolia and are fabricated of the finest felt work I have seen. This thick luxuriously insulating felt fabric is made of camel wool or wool. I have seen other slippers sewn of "duffle" or wool felt pieces but until having Satch and Sol slippers I have never seen slippers skillfully molded from one seamless piece of felt nor have I encountered wool felt of this quality! Even the Inuit use felted socks inside their kamiks {winter footwear} which is testament to this fabric's warmth!

My daughter has been eager to try her slippers even before they arrived. Not only are the slippers warm and comfortable but they are stylish and fashionable. Emma's bouquet Mary Jane's are dyed a natural tan and are embellished with delicate yellow and orange felt flowers irresistible to the touch. Emma loves the fashionable Mary Jane strap. I love knowing that these slippers are not only adorable but they are functional--keeping my darling daughter's precious tootsies toasty! The soles of these are covered with suede allowing for less slippage and added cushion. As an amateur artisan myself I know quality and the skill with which this footwear was made is evident in every meticulous stitch!
