First conceived, by creator and writer Angela, as a personal blog promoting northern issues and other topics near and dear to her heart--eco-friendly living, life-long learning, and healthy parenting--it quickly evolved into much, much more. Northern Mama is now a blog which markets and promotes an eclectic mix of eco-friendly, socially responsible, and family friendly products with flair and creativity! Northern Mama is not chic, it's not a baby blog, nor a book blog but rather a regular Canadian woman's guide to the things she loves and knows others will too! ECLECTIC, FUNKY, and just a bit DIFFERENT Northern Mama is simply unique in it's variety and appeal.In January 2010 Angela invited a new reviewer to the Northern Mama family. Nichole is another "Northern Mama" who like Angela lived in the arctic with her family for many years. Nichole brings a strong knowledge of family-friendly products to Northern Mama and critical eye to products we encounter!
