
Canadian's can look forward to a weekend with Winnie-the-Pooh in Toronto!
Winnie the Pooh himself is in Toronto this weekend to promote his new book, Return to the Hundred Acre Wood. In a way that truly captures the style of Milne, David Benedictus spent ten years crafting the tales collected in his Return to the Hundred Acre Wood.
Winnie on tour:
Sat, Oct 17
11am – Indigo Yonge and Eglinton (meet ‘n’ greet and photo-op)
1pm – Type Books – Queen Street (meet ‘n’ greet and photo-op)
Sun, Oct 18
11:30am and 3:30pm - With Small Print at the Gladstone Hotel ($10 for adults; $8 for kids)
About this event:
Small Print is staging a "Winnie-the-Pooh's Homecoming Party."
Don Kerr has written some new songs and reinvigorated vintage Hundred Acre grooves. An all-star cast of readers (Lisa Ayuso, Richard Crouse, Rachel Harry, Mary Ito, Ibi Kaslik, Richard Poplak, Shoshanna Sperling, and Michael Winter) will present some of the new tales from Return to the Hundred Acre Wood. We'll have activities like the Tigger Toss and Pin The Tail On Eeyore. And Pooh himself will make an appearance!
