Cahootie ~ The Future is In Your Hands!

A little nostalgic despite it's fortune teller claims. Fortune tellers, cootie catchers, whatever term you used for these oragami like folded, finger moving, paper games are sure to bring back memories for many women around my age. I remember memorizing all the folds, writing numbers, words, and seemingly mystical all-knowing statements on the resulting flaps. I guess these were the magic 8 balls of my childhood. To see these pieces of nostalgia boxed and sold was to me a zany thought. I mean wow who'd have thunk it? Well, obviously someone did and if my daughters' reactions are any indication Cahootie is a hot item!

I admit I was skeptical. I mean I could just make one myself..right? Well, I could have had I remembered how or thought to but until receiving Cahootie I had forgotten this simple childhood delight. Now Cahootie has allowed me the opportunity to share a quaint childhood pastime of mine with my children. This may be a "girl's club" but honestly even my son plays Cahootie with his sisters.
