If a tree falls in the forest how many pencils does it become? Every year I purchase boxes of pencils! With three children in school the amount of pencils has continued to escalate and where those pencils come from is important to me and to them. It is amazing and admirable how environmentally conscious children have become. I sometimes wonder why such fabulous ingenuity took this long to take root. These pre-sharpened pencils are available in regular HB and colored pencil crayons. I found the colored pencils smooth and vibrant and I love that Earthzone provides a pencil sharpener with every package of pencils! Though I have not used and sharpened these pencils down to tiny stumps I have found they sharpen well and seem to retain a sharpened end without the frustrating constant breakage one finds with many pencil brands.
